A man has been charged after drugs worth a total of £135,000 were seized when police raided a shipping container and a car in Glasgow.
Police raided the container in the Westerburn Street area of the city on Tuesday.
Amounts of heroin and cocaine worth £83,000 were found inside along with five quad bikes which are suspected to have been stolen and are undergoing further investigation.
At the same time a vehicle was pulled over on nearby Westerhouse Road where a further quantity of heroin was found with as estimated value of £52,000.
The driver was suspected of being linked to the container and was arrested at the scene.
The 35-year-old has now been charged in connection with drugs offences and was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
Detective Inspector Murray Owen said: “Officers are committed to disrupting the sale and supply of illegal drugs and will continue to do so across Scotland day in, day out.
“I would encourage anyone with information about drug crime in their area to report this to us via 101 so we can investigate thoroughly.”
