A fire has broken out in a new block of flats in Glasgow.
Emergency services were alerted to the blaze at the multi-storey under construction on Grange Road in the Battlefield area.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent seven appliances and a high-reach vehicle to the scene.
Firefighters continue to tackle the blaze. There have been no reports of any injuries.
Police Scotland has closed the road and urged drivers to avoid the area.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 2.41pm on Monday, December 1, to reports of a building fire on Grange Road, Glasgow.
“At its height, seven appliances and a high-reach vehicle were mobilised to the area, where firefighters are working to tackle a fire within the eight floors of a multi-storey under-construction building.
“There were no reported casualties and crews will remain at the scene.”
