Fire crews tackle building fire near shopping centre

Firefighters are tackling a blaze which has broke out at a building in the north of Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to reports of a fire in Springburn Way around 4.50pm on Sunday.

Fire crews remain in attendance at the premises which is opposite a shopping centre, with four appliances and an aerial appliance at the scene.

Springburn Way is completely closed off to vehicles, and road users are being urged to avoid the area.

There are currently no reports of anyone being injured.

Police have been approached for comment.
