Fire crews were called out to the Radisson Red hotel in Glasgow after a fire broke out in the kitchen.
Five fire appliances and a specialist resource were called to the hotel on Tunnel Street at around 12.28pm on Tuesday.
However, the blaze had been extinguished prior to their arrival.
There were no reported casualties and the area was made safe.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 12.28pm on Tuesday, September 30, to reports of fire in the kitchen of a commercial building on Tunnel Street, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised five fire appliances and a specialist resource to the scene, however, the fire had been extinguished prior to their arrival.
“Crews ensured the area was made safe before leaving the scene.
“There were no reported casualties.”
