An appeal for help has been issued after five kittens were found abandoned in a park in Glasgow.
The Scottish SPCA was alerted after the black and white litter was discovered in a carrier in Linn Park on Monday.
The kittens have been taken into the care of the charity’s centre in Glasgow, and an appeal has been issued to help trace their owners.
Anyone who recognises the kittens is being urged to get in touch.
The incident comes just weeks after a kitten was found abandoned on a train bound for Edinburgh.
The kitten was discovered in a carrier by concerned passengers on the 8.25am ScotRail train from Helensburgh on January 8.
After being taken to Dalmuir train station, she was brought to the Cats Protection branch in Glasgow, where staff affectionately named her Annie.
Annie is now being looked after by one of the charity’s foster carers and is estimated to be around six months old and healthy.
