Flood damage has closed St Mirren’s stadium, with fans given ticket advice for Saturday’s game against Hibs.

The Paisley club announced the SMiSA Stadium was closed on Monday after flood damage affected the ground.

Staff were sent home with phone lines and WiFi unavailable as the club’s ticket office was also forced to close.

Tickets for the weekend’s match away at Easter Road can be purchased online, the club said.

St Mirren drew 0-0 with Ross County at the SMiSA on Saturday.

A club statement read: “Due to flood damage sustained over the weekend, we have been forced to close The SMiSA Stadium today.

“Staff have been sent home with phone lines and wifi currently unavailable.

“The Ticket Office is also closed, but tickets for this weekend’s match away to Hibernian can be purchased online.

“We will provide a further update tomorrow morning.”
