Fire crews battled a Glasgow house blaze that raged for more than five hours on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to Blackhill Drive, in the north-west of the city, after they were alerted to a two-storey dwelling fire at around 7.48pm.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent four appliances to battle flames affecting the building’s roof.
No one was injured during the incident and crews left the scene just after 12.50am after ensuring the area was safe.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 7.48pm on Wednesday, May 20, to reports of a dwelling fire on Blackhill Drive, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised four appliances and specialist resources to the scene, and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting the roof space of a two-storey building.
“There were no casualties, and crews left the scene at around 00.52am on Thursday, May 21, after ensuring the area was made safe.”
