CrimestoppersFour suspects are to stand trial accused of murdering a man in 2019.
Raymond Platt, 54, Craig Colquhoun, 38, Robert Park, 68, Joseph McCulloch, 49, allegedly attacked Anthony Ferns in Crebar Street, Thornliebank, East Renfrewshire.
Prosecutors state the 33-year-old victim – known as Tony – was repeatedly stabbed on the body with a knife or similar item on April 18, 2019.
Mr Ferns is then said to have managed to drive his Audi A3 a short distance to his home on Roukenburn Street but collapsed.
Paramedics were unable to save him and he died in his garden in front of his mum Phyllis.
Police ScotlandThe case is said to be Police Scotland’s only unsolved murder since the old eight-force model was replaced in 2013.
A hearing called at the High Court in Glasgow.
Defence KCs Thomas Ross, John Scullion, Tony Graham and Ian Duguid pleaded not guilty on behalf of each suspect they are representing.
Advocate depute Alex Prentice KC is leading the prosecution in the case.
Lord Mulholland was told a trial could last around 15 days.
The case was then set for trial which is scheduled to start in August 2025.
A further hearing – to discuss certain legal matters – will take place before then in October this year.
