Four people were rescued near a residential street in Milngavie after getting stuck in a drain.
Two fire engines and a specialist resource were sent to the drain near Dumbrock Road, in the town’s Mains Estate, on Sunday after reports of several people stuck in a drain.
Four people were rescued and checked over by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
They did not require further treatment.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 4.18pm on Sunday, December 14, to reports of several people stuck in a drain near Dumbrock Road in Milngavie.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances and specialist resources to the area.
“Four people were checked over by the Scottish Ambulance Service, but they did not require further treatment.
“Crews then left the area at 4.39pm after ensuring it was safe.”
