A four-vehicle crash has caused traffic chaos on the M8 east of Glasgow on Monday morning.
The multi-vehicle collision has caused restrictions westbound on the motorway near Junction 5 Harthill at around 9.20am.
Emergency services are at the scene near Salsburgh.
Drivers are being warned of delays and are urged to approach the scene with care.
Traffic Scotland said: “Road users are advised to approach with care and expect longer travel times.”
A Scottish Ambulance Spokesperson said: “We received a call today at 8.55am to attend an incident on the M8. We dispatched one ambulance and treated and discharged one patient at the scene.”
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
