Police have made a further arrest in connection with the disorder during Celtic title celebrations in Glasgow last month.

A 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a breach of the peace offence.

He was released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.

A number of arrests have been made in relation to disorder during and after the club’s Premiership title win on Saturday, May 16.

Four arrests were made at Parkhead stadium during the match, and ten in the Trongate area of the city.

They relate to a number of offences including mobbing and rioting, resisting arrest, police assault and possession of offensive weapons. Officers also seized pyrotechnics and alcohol at both locations.

During the disorder, two officers were seriously injured, and three members of the public required hospital treatment.

Significant investigations remain ongoing.

A Major Incident Public Portal (MIPP) has been set up for the public to submit information, including photos or footage, relating to incidents at Parkhead or Trongate.

Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting Operation Gristaline, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
