A child has been taken to the hospital after being hit by a van in Wishaw.
Emergency services were called to Coltness Road at around 9am on Thursday following reports of a crash involving a female pedestrian and van.
A 11-year-old girl was taken to hospital for treatment.
An investigation was carried out following the incident but no police action was required.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a crash involving a female pedestrian and a van which happened on Coltness Road, Wishaw, shortly before 9am on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
“The 11-year-old girl was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
“Enquiries have been conducted and no further police action is required.”
