A schoolgirl has been charged after two teens were injured in a disturbance in West Dunbartonshire.
Emergency services were called to reports of a disturbance in the Erskine Ferry Road area of Old Kilpatrick at around 6.30pm on Thursday.
Police confirmed an 18-year-old boy was taken to Royal Alexandria Hospital.
A 17-year-old boy was assaulted and checked over by the Scottish Ambulance Service but did not require medical treatment.
A 16-year-old girl has been arrested and charged in connection with threatening and abusive behaviour.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.30pm on Thursday, 24 April, officers attended a report of a disturbance in the Erskine Ferry Road area of Old Kilpatrick.
“A male youth, aged 17, was assaulted and checked over by the Scottish Ambulance Service but did not require medical treatment.
“A 18-year-old man was taken to the Royal Alexandria Hospital to be checked over.
“A 16-year-old female youth was arrested and charged in connection with threatening and abusive behaviour and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
