A teenage girl has been arrested after two police officers were allegedly assaulted while carrying out enquiries in Glasgow.
Police Scotland said the incident happened around 12.35pm on Thursday, when officers attended an address in the Dennistoun area in connection with an apprehension warrant.
During the visit, a 17-year-old girl allegedly assaulted two officers. Both officers were taken to hospital for treatment but were later released.
The teenager has been arrested in connection with the incident, and enquiries are ongoing.
Police confirmed that a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.35pm on Thursday, March 26, 2026, officers carrying out enquiries in relation to an apprehension warrant attended an address in the Dennistoun area of Glasgow.
“Two officers were assaulted by a teenage girl. They attended hospital for treatment and were later released.
“A 17-year-old girl has been arrested in connection with assaulting police officers and enquiries are ongoing.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
