Councillors have approved plans to give Glasgow’s Buchanan Galleries a revamp.
Owners Landsec said the plans will see a “comprehensive modernisation” of the existing mall over a series of phases, beginning in the second half of 2026.
A destination food hall will be added to the site, along with a new retail space adjacent to the mall.
Investment will be made in new lighting, modern digital art and advertising displays.
The mall will remain open during the works.
