Part of a building at Glasgow City Chambers has been closed following a fire.
Glasgow City Council has confirmed that parts of the West building are inaccessible after a fire was discovered late on Wednesday evening.
The council said the fire was “quickly contained” by firefighters.
A clean-up operation is now under way to deal with the impact of smoke and water damage on the upper floors.
Some areas of the building are to be closed for the remainder of the week.
However, all office and other accommodation on the ground and first floors are open as normal.
