A block of flats could be built in Baillieston on land where a fire-damaged villa used to stand.
Glasgow City Council has received a request for permission to erect apartments on Muirhead Road.
The application, from Tummelbridge Construction, would see 10 two-bedroom flats created while 13 parking spaces are also proposed.
A detached villa, now demolished, was destroyed by fire over 10 years ago, before the applicant bought the site.
Plans state: “The design aims to deliver a contemporary architectural response that is both sensitive to its surroundings and reflective of the site’s unique characteristics.”
They add: “The site response and early concept design are driven by the intention to develop a building form that minimises the overall impact on the site while responding sensitively to its surrounding context.
“The proposal is structured around the idea of three distinct building masses, articulated to reduce visual dominance and create a more human scale.”
