iStockA Jet2 flight from Glasgow was forced to divert after it declared a mid-air emergency on Monday.
Flight LS135, which took off from Glasgow at around 7am, was bound for Rome when a Squawk 7700 was issued by pilots over Paris due to a minor fault indication.
The plane did a U-turn over the French capital before landing at London Stanstead.
The flight operators confirmed that the aeroplane arrived safely and passengers will be transferred onto a replacement craft.
A spokesperson said: “We can confirm that flight LS135 from Glasgow to Rome followed standard operating procedure and diverted to London Stansted this morning, due to a minor fault indication.
“The aircraft landed safely, and customers will be transferred onto a replacement aircraft to continue their journey.”
