A McDonald’s restaurant in Glasgow has temporarily closed following a “pest sighting” at the premises.
Pest control experts are currently working at the eatery on Pollokshaws Road to ensure that the premises is safe to open.
The fast-food restaurant chain has confirmed that a “full investigation” is under way. It is not known when the store will reopen.
A McDonald’s spokesperson: “Food safety and hygiene is of the utmost importance to us.
“Following a pest sighting, we made the decision to temporarily close our Pollokshaws restaurant so that a full investigation could take place.
“We continue to work with our pest control experts on when we can re-open and apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
