A road was closed on Tuesday after a man collapsed onto the street.

Emergency services were called to Dumbarton Road in Glasgow’s West End at around 8.35am after reports of a man taking unwell and falling onto the street.

A section of the road between, Thornwood Drive and Exeter Drive, was shut following the incident, however, it has since reopened.

An investigation into the incident is still ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 8.35am on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, police attended at Dumbarton Road, between Thornwood Drive and Exeter Drive, Partick, Glasgow, following a report that a man had taken unwell, collapsed and fallen on to the road.

“Emergency services attended the scene and enquiries are ongoing.

“Dumbarton Road has since reopened between Thornwood Drive and Exeter Drive.”
