A road in Glasgow has been closed for more than six hours due to reports of concern for a person on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Cathcart Road at around 1.30am. The area between Merrylee Road and Muirend Road has been taped off by officers.
Members of the public are urged to avoid the area at this time.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Cathcart Road in Glasgow is closed between Merrylee Road and Muirend Road following a report of concern for a person received around 1.30am on Wednesday, November 12.
“Emergency services are attending and the public is advised to avoid the area.”
