STV NewsA hotel in South Lanarkshire has been evacuated following the unexplained death of a man on the premises.
Emergency services, including police, ambulance and fire brigade remain in attendance at the Kings Park Hotel in Rutherglen.
The evacuation took place at around 11am on Sunday and the death was reported to police.
Officers are now investigating the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At around 11am on Sunday we received a report of the death of a man at a hotel in Mill Street, Rutherglen.
“The death is unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
