A number of houses were evacuated in Glasgow’s east end following the discovery of an unexploded ordnance.
Police and the bomb squad were called to the incident on Dalmarnock Road around 1.40pm on Monday.
The road was closed at its junction with Downiebrae Road but has since reopened.
A force spokeswoman said: “Police were called around 1.40pm on Monday, following the discovery of an unexploded ordnance device near Dalmarnock Road, Glasgow.
“A number of nearby houses have been evacuated as a precaution.”
