Hundreds of pro and anti-immigration demonstrators have gathered in Glasgow in rival protests over asylum policy.
Each side was kept apart by a significant police presence as tensions rose on Saturday.
It is the latest in a number of large-scale protests and counter-protests held in recent weeks.
Several hundred people gathered on each side, separated by lines of police officers and metal railings.

Officers had to step in at times to prevent disorder in the crowd.
In recent weeks, pro and anti-migrant groups have clashed outside hotels believed to be housing asylum seekers in Falkirk, Perth and Aberdeen.
The Home Office said it is committed to closing all asylum hotels.
Further protests are planned in Falkirk on Sunday.
