Police are hunting for a gang after a man was attacked and robbed in Paisley town centre.
Officers say a 19-year-old man was in the County Square area of the town when he was approached by four males around 12.40am on Sunday.
They assaulted him and made off towards Gilmour Street with personal items.
The man was treated at the Royal Alexandria Hospital for his injuries.
The group were described as four males, white, aged 16-20 and all wearing hooded sweatshirts.
Two wore light blue, one was in red and one was in a dark coloured hooded sweatshirt.
Detective Constable Alan Baird said: “This was a very upsetting incident for the man and we are keen to trace the group described or speak to anyone who knows who they are.
“In addition, if you have private CCTV or were driving in the area around 1am on Sunday and have dash-cam that could assist officers, then please contact us.”
