Police are searching for two masked men who struck a 16-year-old with a bottle in Glasgow.
The teenager was walking with his friends on Bedford Street in Glasgow around 7.40pm on Monday, January 13 when the group was approached by two men.
Both of the men had their faces covered and struck the 16-year-old with a bottle over the head.
He attended Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and was later released.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing for the help of the public in a bid to trace the men.
Detective constable Lauren Moffat said: “Our work is ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch.
“We know the area was busy with traffic, and I would ask anyone who has dash cam or private CCTV footage that could assist us to contact us.
“Incidents of this nature can understandably cause concern to the local community; however, we are following a number of lines of enquiry, and there will continue to be additional patrols in the area to provide reassurance.”
