Police are searching for two men following an armed robbery at a shop in Glasgow.
The suspects entered the store on Budhill Avenue around 7pm on Sunday and threatened a member of staff with what are believed to be firearms.
A three-figure sum of cash was stolen and no one was injured.
The incident has been described as “frightening” by police who are now hunting for two men in connection.
The first man has been described as white, wearing a long black Berghaus jacket with a logo on the rear of the hood, a black face covering and black trainers with a white sole.
The second man is described as white, wearing a royal blue/black and white tracksuit top with a white Nike log on the chest, dark tracksuit bottoms, light coloured trainers and a red and white beanie hat with writing on the front.
Detective sergeant Alan Gray said: “This was a frightening incident for staff in the shop and it’s vital we trace those responsible.
“I’m appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the men, or who recognises the description of them, to come forward.
“I would also appeal to anyone with dash cam or private CCTV which could assist to contact us.”
