A hunt has been launched for three men after a man was “slashed” in a car park in Bishopbriggs.
Police were called to the fast food restaurant car park off Crosshill Road around 6.05pm on Wednesday following reports of the attack.
The 39-year-old victim was approached by three men and suffered slash wounds in the assault.
He was taken to hospital for treatment, where his injuries are described as “serious but not life-threatening”.
The force said its investigation is “ongoing” and that it is following a positive line of enquiry.
Anyone with information regarding the attack has been urged to come forward.
Detective inspector Kenny McDonald said: “Our investigation is ongoing, and we are following a positive line of enquiry.
“I would ask anyone who witnessed the incident or may have dashcam footage from around the time of the attack to come forward,
“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 2738 of October 16, 2024, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
