A hunt has been launched for two men after a delivery driver was attacked and robbed in North Lanarkshire.
The driver was on Larch Court in Cumbernauld around 10.30pm on July 4 when he was approached by two men.
The pair assaulted the 28-year-old before stealing items from his car.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment following the “traumatic experience”.
Police are now urging anyone who was in the area or witnessed the incident to get in touch.
Detective constable Gamberi said: “This was a traumatic experience for the man, and it is vital that we establish the full circumstances of what happened and trace those involved.
“We have been carrying out extensive enquiries into this incident so far and now I am asking the public if they were in the area at the time and witnessed what happened to get in touch.
“Similarly, anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage is also urged to contact us.
“Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 3890 of July 4, 2025. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
