A Glasgow venue has been transformed into a “playground of colour” for a two-day graffiti and street art festival.
The Yardworks event is being held at SWG3 over the weekend.
Saturday was the first day as one of Europe’s biggest and best events dedicated to street art and graffiti got underway.
Sun and blue skies were the backdrop as world renowned graffiti and street artists began work on their pieces, offering a unique opportunity for audiences to watch murals being created live, from scratch.
The venue’s vast outdoor spaces are being transformed with a 200 metre graffiti maze, archways, walls, buildings and shipping containers all acting as the artists’ canvases.
From traditional New York style tagging to more contemporary lettering and sign painting, the full spectrum of street art styles are on show.
The festival at the venue in Finnieston will continue with day two on Sunday with crowds expected to gather as soon as it opens at 11am.
