One of Scotland’s best-known visitor attractions reopens on Tuesday after a six-year refurbishment costing nearly £70m.
More than 2000 exhibits will be on display at the new-look Burrell Collection, many of which have never been showcased before.
Renowned art collector William Burrell donated all sorts of items, such as tapestries and rare China, to the city of Glasgow in 1944.
The Burrell Collection, in the heart of Pollok Country Park, has now been revamped to make it greener, more accessible, and easier to navigate for the millions of visitors it hopes to attract.
As well as new digital exhibits and interactive elements, there’s a shop and well-stocked café.
