Thousands of people took to the streets of Glasgow on Saturday for the city’s annual Pride festival.
People from the LGBTQ+ community and allies joined the colourful march, walking from Kelvingrove Park into the city centre.

A mother and daughter duo said: “It’s the second one that we’ve been on and it’s hugely exciting.
“I’m a mum and this is my daughter and to be able to come to this together is amazing.”

Another reveller quipped: “There’s so many different people and so much joy.”
“People have turned out and it’s so colourful. I’ve been coming since I was a teenager and it’s lovely to see so many more people supporting it. I feel proud,” said another.
