Adobe StockA road in Inverclyde has been closed in both directions following a crash.
The collision occurred on the A8, Greenock Road, between Woodhall Roundabout in Port Glasgow and the roundabout for the B789 Main Road in Langbank at around 7.05pm on Tuesday.
Emergency services are in attendance, and the stretch of road has been shut.
The number of vehicles involved and the nature of any injuries are not known.
Drivers have been urged to avoid the area.
