Investigation after body of man found near River Clyde

An investigation is under way after the body of a man was found near the River Clyde in Glasgow.

Emergency services say the body of a man was discovered in the Yoker Ferry Road area around 10.30am on Saturday.

Officers said his next of kin is aware.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.30am on Saturday, February 21, 2026, the body of a man was discovered in the Yoker Ferry Road area of Glasgow. Next of kin is aware.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
