Police are treating the death of a man found inside a vehicle in a car park in Inverclyde as “unexplained”.
Officers were called to Balfour Street in Port Glasgow around 4pm on Monday where a 71-year-old was found dead within a vehicle.
Police say the death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious.
His family have been made aware.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4pm on Monday, March 24 2025, police were called to vehicle in Balfour Street, Port Glasgow after a 71-year-old man had been found deceased within.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious. His family is aware.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
