Police were called to the Arrochar Street area, near St Blane’s Primary School, after being alerted to the incident around 12.55pm on Tuesday.

Correspondence from the school, seen by STV, states that P6 pupils alerted staff regarding a man allegedly filming near the pitches.

The man left the area and did not approach the children. The school reassured parents that staff will “remain vigilant”.

Police say their investigation is in its early stages.
