Police have launched an investigation after a deliberate wheelie bin fire spread to a house in Alexandria.
Scottish Fire and Rescue were called to the O’Hare area around 3.30am on Saturday, when the bin was set alight. The fire spread to an adjoining property before being extinguished.
Officers are now urging anyone with information on the incident to come forward.
Detective constable Martyn Cairns said: “Our enquiries into this deliberate fire are ongoing, and I am appealing to anyone who was within the O’Hare area at the time of the incident to get in touch.
“I would also encourage residents in the area to check any private CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage, as it could assist our enquires.”
