An investigation has been launched into the “unexplained” death of a man in Kilmarnock.
Emergency services were called to reports of a man found unresponsive on Orchard Street at around 5.25pm on Tuesday.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his death is being treated as “unexplained”.
An investigation has been launched to establish the full circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
Police Scotland is urging anyone with information to come forward.
Inspector Martin Lawrie said: “Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding this death.
“Officers will remain in the area over the course of tonight and tomorrow and anyone with any information or concerns can speak to them, or call Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 2460 of Tuesday, April 22, 2025.”
