Kingston Bridge to partially close overnight amid joint replacement works

The Kingston Bridge will close overnight due to essential works on joint replacements on the motorway surface.

The works will improve safety on the busy road and preserve the condition and durability of the carriageway’s structures.

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will undertake the roadworks from 8pm on Friday until 6am on Saturday.

The eastbound carriage and the West Street on slip will both be closed due to the works, however emergency vehicle access will be maintained.

Amey added that the works are weather-dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled.

Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
