A shop worker has been left “extremely shaken” following an armed raid on a convenience store.
The knife-wielding robber, who was wearing a white skull Halloween-style mask, made off with a three-figure sum of cash after targeting the Day-Today Express on Bearsden’s Kenilworth Crescent, East Dunbartonshire, at around 5.20pm on Tuesday.
The 40-year-old male staff member was uninjured, but was left “in a state of shock”.
The suspect, who was around 5ft 8in, was wearing a black Adidas top with stripes down the arms and a white stripe across the chest, black Adidas tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Constable Scott Hawkins said: “The victim was left extremely shaken following this robbery.
“I am asking for anyone who may have been in the vicinity of the Day-Today Express shop just before or after this incident to come forward if they saw or heard anything which might help us in this enquiry.”
