Lewis Capaldi look-a-like contest to take place at Greggs in Glasgow

Glasgow fans have the chance to win two free tickets to Lewis Capaldi's sold-out upcoming tour.

Lewis Capaldi fans are in with the chance of winning free to tickets to his upcoming tour as a look-a-like contest kicks off at Greggs in Glasgow.

The Survive singer announced last week that he had partnered with the bakery chain to host contests at stores across the UK, including the Sauchiehall Street location in Glasgow.

To be in with the chance of winning, fans must go to the store in their best cosplay of the Scottish Beyonce from 6pm on Tuesday.

Greggs said there are 25 pairs of tickets available at each shop for those who “truly capture Lewis’ iconic sense of fashion”.

It comes after the singer announced his upcoming tour, which sold out in minutes when tickets went on sale last week.

The upcoming shows kick off in September and will see Capaldi take to the take in Aberdeen and Glagsow.

His tour announcement came after the singer triumphantly returned to the stage during a surprise set at Glastonbury.

It followed a two-year hiatus which Capaldi announced after struggling during a set at the same festival in 2023.

Speculation grew in the days leading up to the surprise set, with a billboard in Glasgow suggesting he may be releasing new music.

At midnight on June 27, the singer released a new single titled Survive, announcing the drop on social media, alongside the caption: “It’s been a while…”.

Hours later, he surprised thousands with a performance at Glastonbury, during which he told fans he wanted “to come and finish what I couldn’t finish last time”.
