Firefighters battled a late-night blaze that took hold of a tarmacking lorry at roadworks in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to New City Road, near Phoenix Road, which has been the site of planned M8 viaduct works since March 2021, at around 11.23pm on Tuesday after reports of a lorry fire.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service dispatched three appliances to the scene.
A video on social media shows crews directing water towards the vehicle, which is engulfed in flames.
Crews left the area at around 1.40am on Wednesday after ensuring the area was safe.
There were no reported injuries.
