A lorry has overturned on the A76 in Dumfries and Galloway with drivers diverted at rush hour.
Emergency services were called to the major road at Carronbridge which is closed in both directions due to an overturned lorry.
The closure means drivers are being diverted onto the A702, joining back on the A76 at Pease Hill.
Road users are being asked to avoid the area if possible.
A Police Scotland statement read: “The A76 at Carronbridge, Dumfries and Galloway is closed in both directions due to an overturned lorry.
“The closure is from Carronbridge, diverting motorists onto the A702, joining back on the A76 at Pease Hill.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.”
