M77 crash causes traffic chaos during morning rush

A crash caused major disruption on the M77 northbound on Wednesday morning.

The collision, at Junction 5-4 near Newton Mearns, saw delays after lane two was blocked due to a “collision”.

Emergency services were called to the scene after the crash at around 7.30am.

All lanes were cleared shortly after but traffic remained slow.

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
