M8 blocked during rush hour after 'two-vehicle' crash

The M8 has been blocked during rush hour near Glasgow Airport after a crash involving “two vehicles”.

Traffic Scotland warned drivers the collision was blocking the slip road on junction 27 heading west was partially blocked by the two vehicles.

Motorists are being urged to take care on approach with traffic moving.

A Traffic Scotland post read: “The M8 is currently restricted westbound at junction 27 due to a road traffic accident.

“Motorists are advised to use caution on approach and allow extra time for their journey.”
