The M80 is “heavily restricted” after a crash involving multiple vehicles between Cumbernauld and Bonnybridge.

Two lanes on the northbound carriageway are closed between Junction 7 Haggs Interchange and Junction 8 Bankhead Interchange at around 9.30am on Tuesday.

Traffic Scotland has warned of long delays of around an hour.

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
