Loch Ard Adventure Centre via SuppliedA multi-agency search of a loch in Aberfoyle is ongoing for a missing man last seen swimming in the water.
A large emergency service response was called to Loch Ard at around 9pm on Saturday.
Searches are being carried out by the dive and marine unit along with the Mountain Rescue Team and air support unit.
The search is ongoing more than 14 hours after initial reports.
The B829 at Aberfoyle was closed and has now reopened.
Loch Ard Adventure Centre said they are supporting the search effort.
They said: “We are assisting and supporting the emergency services in any way we can with an ongoing incident that has nothing to do with Loch Ard Adventure Centre or its customers.
“We have no further knowledge or information. We are aiming to be open as normal on Sunday but please bare with us as we will prioritise our sites use to continue with supporting and assisting while operating as normal.”
