Two people have been taken to hospital after falling ill on a Glasgow street.
Emergency services were called to the Cresswell Street area in the West End of the city around 2.20pm on Friday.
A large emergency service response was sent to the scene, including police, two ambulances, a trauma team, and a special operations team.
Two people were taken to hospital for treatment.
An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.20pm on Friday, September 12, we received a report of two people taken unwell in the Cresswell Street area of Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended, and two people were taken to the hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 2.04pm today to attend an incident on Cresswell Street in Glasgow.
“We dispatched two ambulances, a paramedic response unit, our trauma team and special operations team to the scene, with our first resource arriving within five minutes.
“We transported two patients to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
