A major road in Glasgow’s southside has been closed down after a pedestrian was struck by a car.
Police Scotland closed down Pollokshaws Road from Moss-side Road to Minard Road, at around 11.25am on Saturday.
The pedestrian has been taken to hospital. Their current condition is unknown.

A spokesperson said: “Around 11.25am on Saturday, 14 March 2026, police were called to a collision involving a pedestrian and vehicle on Pollokshaws Road near Minard Road, Shawlands Glasgow.
“The pedestrian has been taken to hospital. Police remain at the scene.”
