Emergency services are to stage a training exercise at Glasgow International Airport on Thursday evening.
Crews from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service will work alongside the Glasgow Airport Fire and Rescue Service to rehearse how they would deal with a major incident at the airport.
The exercise, due to be held between 7.30pm and 11.30pm, will see teams work together in a simulated incident scenario within the airport environment.
The activity will take place in parts of the airport car park, with temporary cordons in place.
It is designed to test emergency response, communication and multi‑agency coordination.
The activity will include fire appliances operating with blue lights, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus, fire hoses deployed, and a short element of synthetic smoke.
There will be no risk to public safety and covered pedestrian routes will remain open throughout.
